Are you looking for a Sydney wedding ceremony singer? I and my wedding musicians perform in Sydney and surrounding areas.

I have a pure and versatile voice that suits most styles of music including contemporary, jazz and light classical. My guitarist and I perform often as an acoustic wedding duo for garden ceremonies, playing all your requested modern love songs and acoustic tunes. Or I can sing at your church wedding accompanied by organist, pianist, strings or other musicians.

I consider it to be a great honour to be asked to perform at such an important life event. I understand the attention to detail that comes into every aspect of wedding planning. I carefully consider everything that a bride could want and need from her wedding singer and wedding ceremony musicians!

When do you normally have music in a wedding ceremony?

Civil ceremonies are very short, so music provides the opportunity to enhance your wedding vows and give a little more atmosphere, style and substance to your ceremony. It also enables you to settle into your ceremony before you actually make your marriage vows.
This is the time when everyone is chatting away with no particular focus but a general sense of occasion. You can create a special mood by choosing reflective or romantic music as a prelude to the service. Music usually commences 20 mins before the bride walks down the aisle.
A beautiful song for the entrance of the bride and bridesmaids will help to set the scene.
During the signing of the register, music helps to keep everyone focused and enhances the mood of the wedding, even whilst photographs are taken. Two songs are usually performed here.
Provides an opportunity for and uplifting song while the newly married couple exits.

Church weddings provide further opportunities for music:

Before or After Vows

You might choose a song to enhance your vows or emphasise a reading or prayers.

Might also include a sung Psalm or spiritual song in place of a reading.
Any religious songs can be sung during this time.

“Intimate venue, relaxed crowd at Natalie Claire Jazz Band”

On Saturday February 24, Natalie Claire Jazz Band delivered an incredible performance at the Music Lounge in Wollongong.

“If you’re here tonight, it means you missed out on getting tickets to Taylor Swift!” Natalie joked at the show’s start.

While Swiftie mania was once again filling Sydney’s Accor stadium, Wollongong’s crowd were in for an entirely different Saturday night. The venue was intimate and the energy relaxed as the band, headed by singer Natalie Claire, covered all the well-loved jazz classics, from Frank Sinatra to Ella Fitzgerald.

A highlight was the band’s rendition of Peggy Lee’s Fever when, supported by the band’s clear chemistry, Natalie’s smooth, toned vocals took centre stage.

Each bandmate performed impressive solos. Pianist MiroslawGalczynski, drummer Steve Ley and bassist Nicholas Powning anticipated and complemented each other's improvisations with ease and great timing.

The audience was engaged and invited to interact with the band, who even led the room in singing happy birthday to one lucky person.

The musicians’ range of skills was on display, switching from slow, smooth ballads like Fly Me to the Moon to more upbeat numbers. The temptation to dance was irresistible and by the end of the show, several people were up and jiving to samba beats at the back of the room.

The evening ended with an encore performance of Route 66, finishing off a satisfying night filled with jazz classics.

Venue: Flamingos Live (Lizottes) Friday 11th October 2024

Picture this if you will. It was the long wet last day of the school holidays, kids going stir crazy and impossible to find a baby-sitter, so I drove up to see the Natalie Claire Jazz Band at Flamingos Live in Newcastle alone on an overcast Friday evening. Along the M1, I was overtaken by a white Ute that flicked up a stone and put a neat crack across half the windscreen.

Upon entering Flamingos Live with its wealth of all things entertainment memorabilia with choice elegant swashes of pink, I was immediately transported to my old overseas jazz haunts like the Saxophone Bar in Bangkok or home-base of the Stray Katz, since closed Grappa's Cellar in Hong Kong. The Flamingos Live wait staff, especially Jamie, were quick to ensure I was comfortable and smiling with gratitude and a bottle of bangin' bargain bubbles.

Warm and appropriately lit, I was fast settling in for the night and crowd were as diverse as the delicious three-course meal I subsequently meandered through. (Chilled lemon prawns with baba ghanoush, roasted peppers, dukkha and chermoula, followed by a deceptively filling aromatic pumpkin and vegetable curry with fragrant basmati rice, before finishing with a stunning lemon crumble coupled with crème anglaise and vanilla bean ice-cream).

The lights dimmed and Natalie's pianist MiroslawGalczynski opened to an audience ready to make this a night to remember. Couples of all ages and nationalities abounded and this just shows how timeless and borderless jazz can be. People were dancing in the spaces between tables and courses, everyone's closets were surely bare that night of all sequins and inhibitions. When the talent on stage can parlay with the audience's expectations and mood you have a phenomenon on your hands.

Drummer Steve Ley, Bassist Nicholas Powning and vocalist Natalie Claire then pulled out the big guns. Clean comic relief and this just put Flamingos Live on fire for the rest of the night. Not one misplaced note. Not a one and I kept feeling the troubles of the world were so far away and we were immune to the mundane. Natalie Claire's voice had me the minute she walked on, and the entire band have perfect stage presence and audience interaction. It might have been the lemon crumble talking, although I could not help applauding Natalie's range which can move around notes like churning honey and tunefully maintain a melody with bull whip precision.

The Natalie Claire Jazz Band graciously and generously performed a double encore as neither the audience nor myself were in any hurry to leave our new-found cultural oasis in suburban Central Coast NSW. We would want The Natalie Claire Jazz Band at any event as their repertoire fit any line-up and they add a unique signature to every number. Thoroughly exceeding all expectations and now a committed fan looking forward to their next performance.

Ray - Trumpet

Ray is widely respected as one of Sydney's finest trumpet players and jazz educators. and regularly performs with the music industry's leading artists. He is often invited to perform live on national television, most recently playing lead trumpet with Harry Connick Junior on the 2023 live ABC broadcast of the New Years Eve Concert, and on the 2023 grand final or “Australian Idol”.

Ray is in high demand as a studio musician, and his trumpet can be heard on recent episodes of Netflix originals “Beat Bugs” and “Motown Magic” alongside first call Los Angeles musicians including Wayne Bergeron and Gary Grant. Other credits include music for "Love Child", "The "Wiggles" and many albums and television commercials.

Ray has appeared with with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra as principal trumpet, where he was a featured jazz soloist at the front of the orchestra. Ray also regularly plays principal trumpet with Sydney Lyric Orchestra for their annual "All You Need Is Love" Beatles Concerts at the Sydney Opera House, where he is featured on the famous "Penny Lane" piccolo trumpet solo.

Luke - Percussion

Luke Thatcher is a percussionist living in Sydney, Australia. Born in the United States, he earned his Masters in Music from the University of Florida and has performed for Walt Disney World, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruises, and various acts in Las Vegas.

Since relocating to Australia, Luke maintains a busy schedule performing, teaching, recording, and writing. Luke adjudicated Optimum Percussion's Australian Drumline Competition and has taught clinics for high schools and universities including the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Luke is the founder and musical director for the Dynasty Drumline and is working to promote the marching arts throughout Australia. The Dynasty Drumline is sponsored by Optimum Percussion, Australia's leading percussion specialists. The Dynasty Drumline has performed on The Voice Australia, The Great Australian Spelling Bee, The 2016 Aria Awards for Troye Sivan, and have been a featured segment on the award winning show The Living Room. The Drumline has also performed for many corporate clients including Ferrari, BMW, The Rugby 7s, Optus, IBM, Nike, The Sydney Easter Parade, and more.

Jordan - Trombone

Originally from Cairns, Jordan has recently completed his Bachelor of Music in Sydney where he studied with Ashley Carter, Nigel Crocker and Scott Kinmont.He then pursued further study at ANAM in 2022 with Scott Kinmont and Colin Prichard, where he developed a love for both orchestral and chamber music. As a keen orchestral musician, Jordan has performed with the Melbourne and West Australian Symphony Orchestras and Orchestra Victoria, as well as the Australian Youth Orchestra, the Momentum Ensemble and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra in Dortmund, Germany.

Brendan - Percussion

Since honing his skills at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Brendan has established himself as a versatile drummer with a vast array of gigs under his belt. His time is split between playing jazz at The Emerald Room, drums and percussion for theatre shows/cabarets of all kinds, snare drum marches with the Corrective Services Band NSW, Pop/Rock bangers with Party Latte and even Country music festivals with the artist Christie Lamb. Brendan’s Jazz/Fusion band ‘Shattered Circuits’ can be found on Spotify, YouTube and Bandcamp. He also has a passion for teaching, currently teaching drum students, percussion ensembles and rock bands both privately and through various schools.

Joey

Joey has been drumming since age 12, and throughout the years, has taken private lessons with various teachers in Sydney, including extensive studies with Milan Troha. In 2011, he moved to New York City to study at the renowned Drummers Collective, where he spent the next 15 months honing his skills, studying under some of the world’s finest educators and musicians.

Joey is well versed in many styles including Rock, Funk, Soul/RnB, Jazz, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, Caribbean, Big Band, Musical Theatre, Fusion and of course Jazz! Joey loves using his grooves to jazz up contemporary songs. When he is not performing with Natalie Claire Jazz band he is busy playing with other bands including Birds of Tokyo and accompanying for The Voice.

_ Drums _

Steve

Steve studied at the Canberra School of Music (ANU) Jazz Studies before making his home in Sydney in the mid ‘90s. Since then, he has performed at hundreds of venues and festivals such as Wangaratta and Manly jazz festivals. He has also toured with rock, blues and ‘world music’ groups around the east coast of Australia.

Steve currently performs regularly with Sydney’s top jazz musicians at venues such as Foundry 616 and Sydney Town Hall. He has recorded albums with Rodric White, Angie Dean, Steve Morrison and Jeff Duff.

Steve maintains an active teaching schedule, currently teaching at St Ignatius College Riverview, and drummers around the world via Zoom. Steve is also Sheet Music Director and an active contributor at Online Drummer, one of the longest running drumming education sites on the internet, where he has contributed hundreds of song transcriptions, multi-media lessons, and educational articles.

Jason

Get ready to feel the beat with the coolest jazz bassist in town! Jason studied music at the Australian Institute of Music and has played in bands that got tons of love on triple J. But my true love is jazz, and I’ve been jamming on the upright bass in some of the best venues in town. Working with Natalie is always a blast, and together we make some serious musical magic. Whether I’m playing in a smoky jazz club or a fancy concert hall, I know how to get the crowd moving. So come check me out and let’s get groovy!

Nicholas

Nicholas Powning is a double bass and electric bass player who holds a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Performance from the Australian Institute of Music and a Graduate Diploma of Education. Nick is fluent in many styles of music but has always been passionate about Jazz. He has studied with leading Sydney Jazz and Sydney Symphony Orchestra bassists. Nicholas works as a session musician and performs with numerous Sydney bands including Booty Call, Small Talk Big Band and Pyrothian.

Dan

Dan is a highly accomplished pianist, accompanist, educator and academic who holds a PhD in jazz from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Dan is passionate about improvisation and exploring new and creative musical experiences. He is a versatile pianist performing a broad range of styles namely Jazz, Classical, Pop, Latin, Soul, Funk and Rock. He regularly performs alongside many renowned Sydney based singers and instrumentalists.

_Keys _

Mirek

Mirek is known for his virtuosic improvisations and deep musical intuition. He started his studies as a classical pianist and then broadened his repertoire by mastering jazz. He also studied percussion, where he was influenced by the Latin sounds of Cuba. Miro completed a Masters Degree in Music Performance and Teaching at the University of Poznan and has taught at the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music and McDonald College in Sydney. He has worked extensively throughout Europe and Australia as a soloist, piano accompanist, musical director and with bands. He has worked with many great artists such as the Nelson Brothers, The Temptations, Charo, Kenny James and the Australian International Ballet Academy.

Natalie

Natalie was exposed to jazz from a young age through her mother’s music collection which featured Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee & Nina Simone.

Natalie’s has a smooth silky voice that is full of warmth. She perfected her jazz technique with various singing teachers and obtained a deep understanding of jazz through her study of music at UNSW. Her finely tuned sound coupled with her band’s musical expertise creates a sophisticated and elegant vibe.

_ Basse _

Jack

Jack Futcher has a Bachelor of Music (Honours) from the Sydney Conservatorium of music. He continues his vocal studies under the guidance of Andrew Goodwin. He is a member of the St Paul’s College Choir as a baritone, performing in weekly even song and in the recent Melbourne Trinity Choir and St Pauls collaboration project. Jack is a classical voice student looking to pursue his passion and love for music by continuously applying himself to his studies and is excited to learn, grow and evolve as an artist and performer.

Kent

Born in Auckland, Kent began his professional musical life as a full time French Horn player in the RNZ Navy Band. He studied music in Wellington, Sydney and at the Canberra School of Music, where he graduated M.Mus in 2001.

Kent has given numerous recitals in the ACT, Sydney, Melbourne, Regional NSW and NZ. He has performed in concert with both Opera Australia and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. Kent has been broadcast twice in recital on ABC Classic FM. Kent has performed with the Opera Australia chorus on over 3000 occasions.

_ Tenor _

Daniel

Daniel is a graduate tenor of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and is an experienced performer of both opera and contemporary music. Daniel has been a young artist with Pacific Opera Studio, and has performed at the Sydney Opera House with Opera Australia, GWB Entertainment/ Red Line Productions, and Sydney Philharmonia Choirs among others. Alongside engagements including with National Opera Canberra and Lyric Opera Studio Weimar, he has portrayed leading roles in operas and operettas. Daniel has featured at multiple Sydney Festivals as well as at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. He has longstanding experience in a cappella music which has lead to his involvement with NCE Choir.

Libby

Libby holds a Master of Music (Operatic Performance) and a Bachelor of Music Performance (Classical Voice) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She was a 2022 and 2023 Young Artist with Pacific Opera and performed a number of roles with the company across these seasons. Libby loves nothing more than entertaining audiences and has been lucky enough to perform with the Opera Australia Chorus, the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra and Christmas engagements with NCE Choir.

_ Alto _

Atalya

As a vocalist, choral conductor, music coordinator, musical director, chorus master, repetiteur, and teacher, Atalya has worked across Sydney and London with organisations including Gondwana Choirs, The Arts Unit NSW, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and Cantillation. Atalya has a Bachelor of Music (Music Education) from the Sydney Conservatorium, completed additional studies in 2020 in Gifted Education through the University of Wollongong. She has performed as a featured soloist at both the Edinburgh International Festival and Sydney Festival. Atalya enjoys making beautiful harmonies with NCE Choir!

Eric

Eric Nelson had his first singing lesson at the age of 7 and hasn’t looked back! He studied singing and music at the Canadian College of Performing Arts, directed various choirs across Canada and has performed in many musical reviews. He moved to Sydney in 2007 and has since sung as a freelance professional vocalist aswell as a chorister with Philharmonia Choirs and the Cafe of the Gate of Salvation. Eric’s other passion is leadership and interior design. When he isn’t performing he is busy managing the flagship showroom for Matt Blatt Furniture.

Jarad

Jared studied a Bachelor of Music Performance and an Advanced Diploma of Opera at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has performed many staring operatic roles such as Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart and has appeared as an oratorio soloist. He has performed with ensembles such as Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Penrith Symphony Orchestra, Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, Sydney University Graduate Choir, Cantillation and the Opera Australia Chorus.

Phillip

Philip, a dynamic bass with a rich, resonant voice, has been charming audiences with his vibrant personality for many years. With a Bachelor of Music Studies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and advanced classical voice qualifications (AmusA and LTCL), Philip’s musical journey is as diverse as it is impressive.

Philip’s career has been a whirlwind of exciting opportunities and prestigious performances. From being a Young Artist with the Song Company to gracing the stages of Opera Australia and Pinchgut Opera, his versatility shines through in every role. As a professional chorus singer with Cantillation, he has lent his voice to memorable performances with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and soundtrack recordings for major film and television productions.

His international experience includes touring s as Sarastro in The Magic Flute across England and performing with London’s Evoke Vocal Ensemble. Back home, he’s a beloved fixture in Sydney’s music scene, and also musical and vocal educator at Reddam House Sydney. He’s also looking forward to decking the halls with NCE for their next fabulous season of carols.

Jesse

An internationally recognised ensemble singer and self-professed “choir nerd”, Jesse is a regular fixture of the Australian choral scene and is passionate about sharing his love of vocal music. He grew up singing in Sydney Children’s Choir and Gondwana Voices, and more recently has sung with ensembles including The Song Company, Sydney Chamber Choir & St James’ King St Choir,

Jesse has toured within Australia and internationally, recorded movie soundtracks, performed as a backup singer and is regularly broadcast on live TV, radio and social media. He is a strong advocate of contemporary composers and has helped premiere over 50 new Australian compositions and arrangements.

Jesse has studied classical, jazz and contemporary vocal techniques, and currently learns Estill Voice Technique with Jo Burton. He has received distinctions in subjects at the Sydney Conservatorium, and in 2021 is completing his Diploma in Music Industry (Sound Production).

Daniel

Daniel is a Sydney-based vocalist with a love of music and performing. He has been involved in choirs and various ensembles from the beginning of his education and studied percussion under Chris Field. At a young age, he joined the Australian Youth Choir and later went on to sing in the St. Mary’s Cathedral Choir. Daniel has also enjoyed being involved with various university music societies and choirs. Daniel has a passion for languages which he has explored in music, spanning the Latin, Germanic, and Russian languages, as well as Swahili and Yiddish. With involvement in acclaimed performances such as Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius, Puccini’s Messa, and Prokofiev’s Alexander Nevsky under his belt, he has also appeared in local musical theatre productions, including West Side Story, Crazy for You, Parade, and more. Recently, he performed with community choir Aurora Choralis and currently sings with the Conservatorium Chamber Choir whilst serving as a scholar with St. Stephen’s Uniting Church. Although Daniel’s tertiary education began in Molecular Biology and Genetics, he rediscovered his passion for music when he began formal training. Daniel is now studying a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science with a music major at the University of Sydney and is undertaking Opera tutelage under Deborah Humble.

Ben

After studying at the Tasmanian Conservatorium, Benjamin joined Opera Queensland, and subsequently Opera Australia, performing a variety of small roles. His further vocal study took him to England, initially on contract with English National Opera (ENO), with whom he toured the Bolshoi and the Mariinsky Theater. Since leaving ENO, Benjamin has appeared in Lohengrin, Billy Budd, FliegendeHolländer, Parsifal, Manon Lescaut, Fidelio and Le Grande Macabre (Ligeti) in the presence of the composer. Simon Boccanegra and Tristan und Isolde with the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Claudio Abbado, in Berlin, and toured to the Salzburg Easter Festival, and Tokyo, Japan. Ben is a renowned choir conductor himself.

Tim

Tim was born to perform! Besides harmony singing, Tim’s passion is in musical theatre with diverse roles such as:- “Cats” as Skimbleshanks, “Shrek,” as Lord Farquaad, “The Sound of Music” as Admiral Von Schrieber, “Mamma Mia,” as Harry, “Chicago,” as Billy Flynn, “The Wizard of Oz” as The Scarecrow and The Tinman, “The Little Mermaid” as Scuttle, “Fiddler on the Roof” as Perchik, “South Pacific” as Lieutenant Cable, “The Drowsy Chaperone” as Robert Martin, “Crazy for You” as Bobby, “Les Miserables” as Marius and “Kiss Me Kate” as Gremio directed by Nancye Hayes AM. A highlight for him was performing in two seasons of “Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris,” directed by Geraldine Turner OAM, with performances in Parramatta and Mittagong.

Tim has also appeared on television, as an extra in “Crime Investigations Australia” (Kim Barry murder) and “South Pacific,” starring Glenn Close. Away from the stage, Tim is an Assistant Principal in a primary school. His sporting achievements include a gold medal and national title playing men’s netball for NSW.

Damien

Damien has sung with Opera Australia’s chorus for the past 17 years, starting with the 2006 Pirates of Penzance tour, followed by opera and operetta in 6 Languages. He was featured in the Cockney Quartet for the 2008 My Fair Lady tour and performed at the Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour five times, including the first.

Damien grew up in Canberra’s rich amateur dramatic scene, with many opportunities to grow in roles such as Petruchio in Taming of the Shrew and Enjolras in Les Misérables. Then in 2005 he was encouraged to apply for the OperatunityOz competition, where he placed in the Semi-Finals, and was invited to audition for Opera Australia.

In 2020, he had the chance to sing the role of Bastien in Mozart’sBastien and Bastienne for Endangered Productions at Customs House. Of this performance, Sydney Arts Guide described a “fine vocal delivery”.

When Damien is not singing opera, he has enjoys singing with the Sydney a Capella group, NCE Choir.

Jemima

Jemima is an versatile vocalist with a deep love for harmony and choral music. She has performed for the last 5 years as the lead singer of renowned jazz big band ‘Sussudio Big Band’, performing regularly at venues across Sydney as well as the Manly Jazz Festival, Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival and more. Jemima’s love for music began when she was cast in the professional production of The Sound of Music (SEL GFO) at the Lyric Theatre in 1999/2000, also igniting her passion for harmonies (along with the other Von Trapp kids!). Jemima has worked as a session singer, recording extensive catalogues for numerous television programs such as ‘Kitchen Whiz’, ‘Magical Tales’, ‘Surprises’, educational music for schools networks and more. She has also appeared in television series such as ‘Random & Whacky’, ‘Drop Dead Weird’ and ‘Battle of the Choirs’ with different choral Sydney-based groups. Jemima is an 8th grade pianist, having also trained in flute, oboe and tuba.

Lanneke-Grace

Lanneke began performing from a young age and has a wealth of musical experience as a singer, pianist, reed player, conductor and teacher. She is a graduate of the Conservatorium High School, studied Classical Voice at the University of Sydney (Sydney Con) and completed a Master of Teaching (Music Secondary) at UNSW. Lanneke has spent the last ten years teaching voice, whilst working as a freelance performer, singing for companies such as Musica Viva and the Song Company, as well as providing backing vocals for children’s television shows such as Magical Tales. When she isn’t performing, Lanneke works as a classroom music teacher at a boys school on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Emma

Emma is a Sydney-based choral and contemporary singer. Introduced to the world of ensemble singing through The Arts Unit and having studied classical piano, flute and voice since childhood, they then went on to complete a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary Music Practice) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where they furthered her studies in classical, jazz and a range of contemporary styles.

Emma has thoroughly enjoyed singing in various ensembles across Sydney, such as Sydney Philharmonia’s VOX, The Song Company and Gondwana choirs, and has trained privately with musicians well-known in their respective fields including Naomi Crellin, Jo Fabro, and Margi de Ferranti. Emma is a regular soloist at private functions and has also recorded vocals for several movie soundtracks, including for the Planet of the Apes and Mortal Kombat franchises, as well as featuring on radio and television.

Maria

Maria has Diploma of Opera, and a Bachelor of Music and currently studies voice in Sydney with South African Soprano, Andrea Catzel.

Maria is grateful to have worked with many exciting companies in Australia over the years including OA extra Chorus, Sydney Chamber Opera (The Cunning LIttle Vixen) Pacific Opera (Xantippe, Gods and Sinners), Gertrude Opera, (Moira, A Handmaid’s Tale), Sydney Symphony Opera, (Handmaid, Elektra) Melbourne Opera, Tasmania Chamber Orchestra, (Soprano Soloist, Gorecki Symphony of Sorrowful songs) Sydney Philharmonia, and tours regularly with Giant Entertainment in their shows The Ten Soprano’s, ABBA Classics, and Legends of Greek Music. In 2023 Maria also performed in the UK in June and July in opera excerpts at the Godalming Opera Festival in Surrey and as part of the Conservatoire Concerts at Godalming and Collet House London. Maria is looking forward to singing in the Ten Soprano’s state theatre show in November, followed by performing as Soprano Soloist in Les Illuminations with the Hobart Chamber Orchestra at the Hobart Town Hall in early 2025.

Lanneke

Lanneke’s professional singing career began at the age of five, touring Australia for four years as a member of Opera Australia’s Children’s Chorus. She graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education with Music Performance Honours and has established herself as a professional singer and teacher in both classical and contemporary music styles. Lanneke toured internationally as a full-time member of the prestigious Song Company and has sung with the Sydney Philharmonia Choir, Motet and Cantillation. Her diverse performing career includes solo work with Opera Australia, The National Chamber Opera of Australia, The Taverner and UNSW Burgundian Consorts and Cafe Of The Gate Of Salvation. In the contemporary music field, she has recorded and performed Jazz, R&B and A cappella, and provides music for corporate events. Lanneke’s choral conducting has taken her to many schools, concert halls and churches across Sydney, and she currently is Music Festival Director, Choir Director and Senior Music teacher at Loreto Kirribilli, along with Choral Conducting of community a cappella choirs and The Sydney Children’s Choir.

Liz

Liz has performed extensively as a singer and actor in music theatre and is a current member of The Australian Ten Sopranos. Recent highlights have included theatrical concert events such as tour of Mamma Mia in Concert; the music of Abba, support acts for Glen Shorrick and Yannis Kotsiras at Anitas Theatre and the State Theatre, and Ballroom Blitz; The Glam Rock show.

Liz has appeared across Australian Television in many varied acting roles. Some choral highlights have included singing in the select backing choir for Andrea Bocelli and Delta Goodrem at Qudos Bank Arena, BBC Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular at Qantas Credit Union Arena, King Kong select soundtrack recording- produced by Global Creatures, and the opening night at the BBC Proms in London at The Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Conducting highlights include the opening ceremony of the Special Olympics, where she conducted 2 choral pieces with the soloist, and Westiefest Sydney Festival, where Liz conducted a 25 minute choral segment, and also accompanied on the piano.

Josephine

Josephine is a Sydney-based soprano, voice teacher and recent graduate of Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Since 2019, Josephine has begun to establish herself as both a solo and ensemble artist for various companies based in Sydney including Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, NCE Choir and the Choir of St James King Street.

In 2022 she joined Rockdale Opera Company for their Opera Gala and performance of Die Fledermaus in the role of Adele and in 2023 joined Hayes Theatre Company in the role of Mrs. Nordstrom for their production of A Little Night Music. In 2023 she also joined the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in their performance of Eriks Esenvald’s Passion and Resurrection as a soprano soloist, and currently sings as a Soprano Scholar with the Choir of St James King Street.

Camilla

Camilla has completed her Masters of Music, Opera Studies at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and since then has performed alongside China’s Three Tenors at the Sydney Opera House, has performed Operatic rolls including Olympia from the Tales of Hoffmann, and currently performs with Rockdale Opera Company. She has also performed as a part of BONTOM production, Chamber Pot Opera, a modern Opera performed in a bathroom, travelling to Adelaide as part of the Fringe Festival.

Camilla is now known for her versatile voice and has pursued different paths of music including performing as part of the Sydney Contemporary Arts Fair in “A Sonorous Body” by Justene Williams, and currently is loving singing with NCE Choir and bringing music cheer to the masses.

Alice

A recent graduate from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, she holds a Masters of Performance with Distinction, and a Bachelor of Music from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. She has performed and recorded with London Philharmonia Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Australian Chamber Orchestra, The Seven Sopranos, Cantillation and The Song Company. She has also performed as an anthem soloist at the Rugby World Cup. Alice was awarded two prestigious concert awards through the Bel Canto Institute in Firenze – a concert series in New York accompanied by assistant conductor from the Metropolitan Opera, Robert Morrison and with the Vermont Philharmonic Orchestra. Alice performed excerpts from Mussorgsky’s opera Boris Godunov with the London Philharmonia Orchestra at Royal Festival Hall and as a soloist in the London Handel Festival at Hanover Square. She has performed in masterclass for Maestro Richard Bonyge, Graham Johnson and Yvonne Kenny. Alice has also been a finalist in the Richard Bonyge and Joan Sutherland Bel Canto Award where she was also recipient of the Megan Evans Award and winner of the Wollongong Eisteddfod Aria Competition.

Natalie

Natalie graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Music Education majoring in voice where she was a member of the Collegium Musicum Choir. She then went on to perform with the internationally acclaimed Australian Voices and she is the founding member of Cantabile Choir (now known as NCE Choir). Natalie currently maintains a busy career as vocal performer and choir director. She was previously a Director of Music for the Australian Youth Choir, various school choirs, and the adult choir: One World Choral. She founded the Sutherland Shire Children’s Choir to provide outstanding performance opportunities for young singers.
